Not if it is flashed properly. The flashing keeps water out, not the sealant — a unit bedded in silicone will eventually let go. Dave fits new flashing suited to your roof type on every install, which is the difference between a dry ceiling and a callback.
Yes, along with tile. Metal roofs use a purpose-made soaker or flashing fitted under the upper sheet and over the lower one, with matching screws and neoprene washers. On low-pitch Colorbond, placement high on the slope and clear of ridge caps matters more than it does on tile.
The unit, correct flashing for your roof type, cutting and fitting, removal and disposal of any old unit, full clean-up including metal swarf off the roof and out of the gutters, and travel to Success. Nothing gets added afterwards.
