Dave's Whirly Birds ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you submit a quote request or contact form we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone number, suburb, the service you are interested in, and any additional information you type into the message field. If you email or call us, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not ask for identity documents or financial information online.

Why we collect it

• To contact you with a quote and answer your questions
• To schedule and complete work you have booked
• To keep a record of jobs completed, for warranty and follow-up purposes

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing lists or share it with third-party advertisers.

Who we share it with

Quote form submissions are delivered to us by our form provider (Formspree) and by email. Those providers process the data on our behalf in order to deliver the message. We do not otherwise disclose your information unless required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful for following up. Records relating to completed work are retained for as long as needed for warranty, tax and insurance purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If web analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated to say so before they are enabled.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No website can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send sensitive information such as identity or banking details through the contact form.

Accessing or correcting your information

Complaints
