Roof Ventilation Perth — Free Assessment

Not sure what you need? Send through your roof size, pitch, orientation and ceiling area and Dave will recommend the right setup — then give you a fixed price up front.

Enquire Now › How It Works ›

Roof ventilation is a system, not a product. Extraction on its own does nothing if there is no intake, and four units on a roof with boxed-in eaves will not out-perform two on a roof that can breathe.

Send your roof details through and Dave will work through them — size, pitch, colour, eave venting, insulation and what you actually want to fix — then recommend the smallest setup that will do the job, at a fixed price.

Extraction and Intake Both Matter

Air only leaves the roof cavity if the same volume can get back in. That intake normally comes through vented eaves, and plenty of Perth homes — particularly double-brick builds and any home with boxed or lined eaves — have very little of it.

Where intake is the bottleneck, adding eave vents alongside a couple of whirlybirds gives a far better result than piling on more units up top. That is a cheaper fix than most people expect, and it is the sort of thing an honest assessment catches.

What Dave Asks About

  • Roof type — tile, metal or Colorbond — and its colour
  • Approximate ceiling area and roof pitch
  • Single or double storey, and where the hot rooms are
  • Whether your eaves are vented, boxed in, or absent
  • Any existing whirlybirds or vents and their condition
  • Whether the problem is summer heat, winter condensation, or both

Common Perth Ventilation Problems

Bedrooms that stay hot until midnight are almost always a roof cavity problem rather than an insulation problem — the ceiling has been soaking up radiant heat all afternoon and releases it slowly after sunset.

Winter mould on the underside of sarking, or damp patches in insulation, is the same system failing in the other direction: warm moist air from inside the house rising into an unventilated cavity and condensing on cold surfaces overnight.

Both are fixed by moving air through the space. What differs is how much air, and how you get it in.

No-Obligation, No Charge

The phone assessment is free, and there is no site visit needed to get a real number — Dave has been on enough Perth roofs to price accurately from a description. If the answer is that you need less than you thought, that is what he will tell you.

FAQ

Roof Ventilation Assessment Perth — Questions

Common Questions

No. It takes two minutes on the form, and you get a fixed price at the end of it with no obligation.

Almost never. Between your description, roof type and ceiling size, Dave can quote accurately from your description. If something about the roof looks unusual, he will say so before booking rather than surprising you on the day.

Yes — where intake is the limiting factor, adding eave vents is often the highest-value part of the job. Dave will quote it as part of the fixed price.

No, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling units. Past the point where your intake venting can keep up, extra extraction adds cost without adding airflow.
